Can I Order Just One Sheet as a Sample First?

Can I Order Just One Sheet as a Sample First?

“Can I order just one sheet as a sample before I commit to a full order?” Yes. Start with one sheet, test it behind your actual stone, and scale up once colour, fit, and wiring check out. Availability, lead time, and included items are confirmed on a quote request.

Check brightness uniformity across the whole sheet

Light the sample bare first, then behind your material. Look edge to edge, not just at the centre, for a dim corner, a brighter band near the feed point, or any patch where light falls away. Stone thickness and veining vary, so bare-bench evenness is not proof behind stone.

If the finished panel joins several sheets, ask how they splice for your panel size and inspect the join as carefully as the centre.

Check colour temperature against your actual stone

A white that looks clean bare can turn cold or washed out behind a particular stone or resin. Test behind the exact material you will install, in the light where the finished piece will be seen.

The BG-0318 RGBCCT sheet offers two white channels, 2700K and 6000K, so you can compare warm against cool on your stone. The BG-0313 RGBW sheet is different: its white is only 3000K or 6000K, depending on the version ordered. Settle that choice on the sample, and confirm the white option in your quote request.

Check the cut grid against your panel layout

Lay the sample over your panel drawing and see where sheet edges and the grid fall against corners and joints. That check often changes the sheet orientation or joint position.

Sizes: the BG-0318 measures 490 × 245 mm, and the BG-2002 single-colour sheet measures 610 × 305 mm. Compare those dimensions with your panel, not a rough estimate, and confirm any cutting approach in your quote request.

Check thickness, wiring, driver, and controller fit

The glowing area is 1.6 mm thick, while the connector stands 5.6 mm proud. Allow 6 mm of clearance at the connector and 2 mm at the glowing area when planning the cavity; measure connector clearance on the sample.

Then check the electrical fit. The BG-0318 runs on 24V and draws 50W, with 640 LEDs and six cores: V+, R, G, B, warm, and cool. The BG-0313 draws 45W with 512 LEDs and five cores. The BG-2002 draws 30W with 288 LEDs. Those wirings are not interchangeable. Confirm the voltage system — 12V or 24V — the core count, and the controller channels, and size driver and controller with headroom for the finished panel load, not just the sample. Test the 3M adhesive backing on your backing surface.

Sample checklist

  • Light the full sheet, then behind your actual stone or resin.
  • Compare warm and cool white on the real material, and confirm the white version.
  • Lay the sample against your panel drawing; check grid, joints, and orientation.
  • Measure cavity clearance: 6 mm at the connector, 2 mm at the glowing area.
  • Confirm voltage, core count, controller channels, and driver headroom for the full panel.
  • Confirm splicing for your panel size.

FAQ

Can I really order just one sheet first?

Yes, in general terms. Test one sheet against the points above, then order in full once satisfied. Exact availability is confirmed through a quote request, as it depends on the model and specification.

Does the sample show what the finished panel will look like?

It shows the sheet, its colour, and its uniformity. It does not by itself show a large spliced panel, so send your panel size and layout with your quote request so splicing can be checked too.

Should I test behind my own stone, or is any stone close enough?

Use your own stone. Colour, thickness, and veining vary between batches, so a test behind a different slab can mislead you. The same applies to resin and glass.

What if the sample shows the colour is wrong?

Try the other white channel or version where the sheet offers one — the BG-0318 lets you compare 2700K against 6000K — and confirm the corrected specification before ordering more. Do not try to fix a wrong white with a different driver or controller.

What do I need to send to request a sample?

Send the model, your panel size and layout if you have them, the material you will use, and your voltage and controller setup if already chosen. If any are undecided, say so and confirm them before ordering.

Request a sample or a quote

Test uniformity behind your real material, settle the white, confirm grid and cavity fit, and confirm wiring and control setup. Then order with the specification already proven.

To start, request a quote or a sample with the model, panel size, material, and control setup you want to test. You can also browse the main flexible PCB LED light sheet range first if still choosing.
