Cutting and Installing the BG-0297 LED Light Sheet
The BG-0297 is a flexible LED sheet on double-layer FPC, 1.6 mm thick, with 3M adhesive backing and screw-mount accessories. It can be cut along the marked lines with a minimum cutting unit of 125 mm; shapes follow that grid. Sheets can be joined with the supplied connection wires to cover large areas. For backlit stone, onyx, marble or resin, mount the sheet 30–80 mm behind the surface: thin, highly translucent materials need the larger distance or a diffuser, while denser materials can sit closer. Allow for the height of the input connector when planning the cavity.
Matching Power Supply and Controller
The BG-0297 uses 6-wire input (V+, R, G, B, warm white, cool white) at DC 24V. With a Mean Well HLG-320H-24 (320 W) loaded to 80%, one driver powers about 4 sheets of BG-0297; a Mean Well HLG-150H-24 powers about 2 sheets. Keep each driver at or below 80% of its rated power and split large surfaces into several zones rather than using one very large driver. For dimming and color control we recommend a 5-in-1 RF controller such as the HX-SZ900-R5 (RGB+CCT mode, up to 960 W at 24V). It also supports wireless and RJ45 wired sync between zones. Do not combine a dimmable driver with a PWM dimming controller in the same zone.
BG-0297 vs Similar LED Sheets
Its 125 mm cutting step is best for straight rectangular panels. If the panel has more detailed shapes, BG-0318 (640 × SMD2835, 30.6 mm cut) offers RGBCCT with a much finer cutting grid and higher CRI white.

Can the BG-0297 LED sheet be cut to a custom shape?
Yes. Cut only along the marked lines; the smallest cutting unit is 125 mm, so curves and angles follow that grid. Send us your drawing and we will check the layout before production.
How much space do I need behind the stone or panel?
We recommend 30–80 mm between the LED sheet and the translucent surface. Thinner, more translucent materials need more distance or a diffuser to hide the LEDs; the sheet itself is 1.6 mm thick, plus the height of the input connector.
What is the minimum order, and can I get a sample?
Orders start from one sheet. Samples are available for a fee and usually arrive in 7–10 days, including shipping.
