Cutting and Installing the BG-0317 LED Light Sheet
The BG-0317 is a flexible LED sheet on double-layer FPC, 1.6 mm thick, with 3M adhesive backing and screw-mount accessories. It can be cut along the marked lines with a minimum cutting unit of 25 × 25 mm (1 in); shapes follow that grid. Sheets can be joined with the supplied connection wires to cover large areas. For backlit stone, onyx, marble or resin, mount the sheet 30–80 mm behind the surface: thin, highly translucent materials need the larger distance or a diffuser, while denser materials can sit closer. Allow for the height of the input connector when planning the cavity.
Matching Power Supply and Controller
The BG-0317 uses 3-wire input (V+, data, GND) at DC 12V. BG-0317 runs on 12V DC, so it needs a 12V driver (for example the 12V version of the Mean Well HLG series). We confirm the exact model with your quotation. Keep each driver at or below 80% of its rated power and split large surfaces into several zones rather than using one very large driver. For dimming and color control we recommend an addressable SPI pixel controller from our HX-SPI series (for example the HX-SPI-RF8K or HX-SPI01-WIFI). The exact controller model is confirmed with your quotation, based on the effect you need. Do not combine a dimmable driver with a PWM dimming controller in the same zone.
BG-0317 vs Similar LED Sheets
BG-0317 is a 12V product with one pixel per LED for fine effects. The larger 24V BG-0320 (490 × 245 mm, 32 pixels) covers more area per sheet with coarser pixels.

Can the BG-0317 LED sheet be cut to a custom shape?
Yes. Cut only along the marked lines; the smallest cutting unit is 25 × 25 mm (1 in), so curves and angles follow that grid. Send us your drawing and we will check the layout before production.
How much space do I need behind the stone or panel?
We recommend 30–80 mm between the LED sheet and the translucent surface. Thinner, more translucent materials need more distance or a diffuser to hide the LEDs; the sheet itself is 1.6 mm thick, plus the height of the input connector.
What is the minimum order, and can I get a sample?
Orders start from one sheet. Samples are available for a fee and usually arrive in 7–10 days, including shipping.
